Martha Reeve's heart Heatwave has nothing on this Portland summer. I'm melting faster than a popsicle stuck between Satan's ass cheeks. 

While the Heatwave's burning in my heart—I should set Portland on fire too, right?

This is the busiest summer I've had since 2007 when I was preparing for my first cross country move while getting bombarded with crazy working 60 hour weeks at a summer camp. 

Even though I'm extremely fortunate that I only have to work 20 hour weeks to make all of my expenses for the month, those 20 hours are nuts. Nannying is wonderful and awesome, but it will definitely wear you out. 

Today I had my first proper day off in awhile, and I'll be damned if anyone was going to get me out of bed before noon. Ohhh, I slept so well! Sometimes little things can really brighten your mood, you know? 

Here's a photodiary of my last few weeks, including a picture of DEBBIE HARRY (!) from the Blondie concert I went to this weekend, (I'm still freaking out); Julia & I on our last MisselArch shoot; a few snaps from our house's yard sale; and some nannying adventures. 

Before I sign off for the time being, I'd be remiss if I didn't link you to this amazing mix I've had on repeat for the last week or so. My housemate introduced me to this amazing collection of late 80's Tamil music, and I'm completely obsessed. Such a nice pairing with all this heat.  

Well, that about wraps up my last few weeks. Holding on by a thread, and pumping iced coffee into my veins with an I.V.
